RiderRadar ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile app, website, and services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account or using RiderRadar, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

We collect only the data needed to operate RiderRadar and improve your experience.

• Name, username, email address, and password
• Profile photo (optional)
• Motorcycle information (make, model, year)
• Messages and group chat content
• Friend lists and block lists
• Support requests or feedback
b. Information Collected Automatically
• Location data (if you enable location sharing):
- Live GPS location for real-time rider discovery and RiderBeacon features
- You can enable Ghost Mode or Location Scrambling for enhanced privacy
• Device information (model, OS version, app version)
• Log data (IP address, timestamps, crash/error data)
• Usage analytics (features used, app interactions)
c. Third-Party Services
• Firebase (authentication, push notifications, analytics)
• Google Maps / Expo Location (map display and geolocation)
• AdMob (advertising - uses test IDs in development)
• PostgreSQL database hosted on secure servers
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
• Provide RiderRadar features like nearby riders, RiderBeacon, and chat
• Send push notifications (ride invitations, group messages, friend requests)
• Prevent fraud and maintain security
• Improve and debug the app
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share data only when necessary:
• With service providers (Firebase, hosting, maps) under strict data-protection agreements
• With other users (only information you choose to share, like your location or profile)

We do not share your exact location with third parties for advertising purposes.

• Backup Data: Removed from backups within 90 days
• Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

However, no system is 100% secure. Use RiderRadar at your own risk.

RiderRadar is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors without parental consent.
Age verification is implemented during registration.
If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
9. International Users (GDPR Compliance)
If you use RiderRadar outside the United States, you consent to processing in the U.S. and other countries where we operate servers.
