Brass & Powder is a fully offline firearm and reloading inventory management application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
We do not collect any personal data. Brass & Powder does not transmit, upload, share, or sell any information to any server, third party, or external service. All data you enter into the app — including firearm records, reloading data, maintenance logs, and component inventory — is stored exclusively on your device.
This app does not require or use an internet connection. No network requests are made at any time. There are no analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries included in this application.
The app requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to allow you to attach photos to your firearm records. Photos are stored locally on your device only. No photos or images are ever transmitted outside your device.
If you choose to enable biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition), the app uses your device's built-in biometric system. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's secure hardware and operating system. Brass & Powder never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data.
All app data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. You may optionally enable AES-256 database encryption within the app settings for additional protection. This encryption is performed entirely on-device.
You can delete any or all of your data at any time by using the delete functions within the app, or by uninstalling the application. Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all stored data from your device.
This app is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be included in future app updates. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
